Terms and Conditions
Childbirth Preparation Course (Weekend Intensive Course)

1. Registration
Registration is binding via the Hebamio booking system or in writing. By registering, these terms and conditions are accepted. The contract becomes valid upon confirmation by the midwife.

2. Course content and services
Over two days, couples are intensively prepared for childbirth and the early postpartum period. Relevant information and practical exercises regarding pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, and the early time with the baby are provided.
The course does not replace medical advice or individual healthcare consultation.

3. Billing with health insurance
For participants insured under statutory health insurance, the course fees for the pregnant participant are billed directly to the health insurance provider. Only attended sessions can be billed.
Any non-covered services must be paid privately.

4. Partner fee
The participation fee for the accompanying partner is €140 for both course days and must be paid privately.
Payment is due no later than 7 days after registration via the Hebamio booking system to the following bank account:

Account holder: Luisa Hahn
IBAN: DE72 1001 0178 5145 3671 79

Registration is only binding after payment has been received.
The partner fee is generally a private expense. Some health insurance providers may partially or fully reimburse partner costs. This must be clarified individually with the respective insurer.

5. Cancellation / withdrawal
Free cancellation is possible up to 21 days before the course starts.
For cancellations less than 21 days before the course starts, the partner fee of €140 is generally non-refundable.
If the place can be reallocated, a full refund may be granted.

6. Medical exceptions
Cancellation after the 21-day period is possible in case of:
premature birth of the child
medically certified bed rest
inpatient hospital stay of the pregnant participant
In these cases, no automatic refund applies; a refund may be granted upon individual review. Proof may be required.

7. Missed sessions
Missed sessions cannot be billed to the health insurance provider and must be paid privately.

8. Cancellation by the midwife
The midwife may cancel or reschedule the course due to illness, insufficient participants, or unforeseen circumstances. Any fees already paid will be refunded. No further claims apply.

9. Liability
Participation is at the participant’s own risk. Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. No liability is accepted for personal belongings.

10. Data protection
Personal data is used exclusively for course organisation and billing and will not be shared with third parties unless legally required.

11. Right of withdrawal (online booking)
For online bookings, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies. It expires early if the course begins within this period and the participant explicitly agrees to immediate service provision.

12. Final provisions
If any provision is found to be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
